It has been my privilege to be one of your elected representatives for the past eight years. I have certainly enjoyed meeting so many people and helping them when I can.
During those eight years I have gained considerable knowledge, experience and expertise, of working in and for the community I have served.
These are, I believe, qualities which will be invaluable during this period of austerity.
As a true local, I was brought up, educated at all three of the schools in Withernsea and have spent my working life in business in the town, I am well aware of the problems and needs of the area.
Working in partnership with town and parish councils, residential groups and individuals, as well as our Member of Parliament a lot has been achieved, but there is still a long way to go.
It has been a great honour for me to be a Conservative councillor for the area and I would like to continue serving you and once again seek your approval. As the campaign for the Local Elections gets underway I also look forward to working with my fellow Conservative candidates Jackie Cracknell and Arthur Hodgson.
A vote for me will ensure a strong voice in the East Riding of Yorkshire Council chamber at Beverley in the quest to get the very best for South East Holderness and all those who live here.
Together we can make a difference.
